| 2025/ 2026 Legion Membership drive |
By the time that you are reading this the 2025 / 2026 Post Membership drive will be well underway. If your member ID card does not have 2026 at the top center by December 31, 2025 (according to American Legion National rules) your membership will expire. It takes about seven days to process a membership renewal when mailed in and about 2 days when done online. July 1 began the Legion Membership drive. The Parkville Post 183 Fiscal Year is from August 1 - July 31 so membership cards will not be processed and mailed till after August 1, 2025. Renewal notices will begin to be mailed in July. Early Bird registration expires on October 20, which, technically, is the day that the renewals are due to National. The membership ID cards will be valid through December of the year at the top of your card and will become delinquent on December 31, 2025 unless renewed. NEW FOR 2024/25 Since the 2024/2025; members have the option of paying their membership online for 1, 2 or 3 years. This will ensure that if the Post raises their dues that you would be locked in for the years that you selected.
